Complete RECON’s generalised ethics questions, then choose your research ethics committee (REC), add any pathway-specific details, review and export your submission.
During the pilot, RECON supports application preparation and export for IREC and Unlock Psychology. You can begin preparing your project before deciding which pathway to use.

Independent Research Ethics Committee
IREC provides independent ethical review for researchers, businesses, charities and other organisations. Its approach considers ethical practice throughout the research process.
RECON helps organise your own answers into IREC’s application structure, with additional prompts for its specific requirements.
Unlock Psychology
Research Ethics Committee
Unlock Psychology provides independent ethical review, with specialisms including psychology, mental health, neurodiversity, education, and social and behavioural research.
RECON uses your shared answers to help prepare your application and identify outstanding details and supporting documents.
