Triage

Three short screens about your study. RECON works out whether it needs ethics review and at what level of risk. You do not need an account.

How this works

Not sure is a safe answer. RECON counts it as yes for the level and lists it for you to confirm later, with a collaborator or with the committee you apply to.

Screen one asks what the work is and who is involved. If no review is needed, or the NHS is involved, it stops there.
Screens two and three are two checklists drawn from university, research council and HRA guidance. Answer yes, no or not sure for each. The ? next to a question says why it is asked.
RECON tells you whether review is needed and whether the study is low, medium or high risk. Signed in, you can start a project from the result and your answers come with you.
